Woman Kills Attempted Kidnapper Who Said He Helped Dispose of Natalee Holloway’s Body

A man who made headlines as a possible accomplice in a high-profile murder case, has himself been killed—after he tried to kidnap a woman.

John Christopher Ludwick, 32, was featured in the series “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway,” claiming he helped dispose of the missing Alabama teen’s body.

Holloway, 18, disappeared in 2005 and was last seen with Joran van der Sloot, although van der Sloot was never charged with her death.

Ludwick claimed in the TV show that van der Sloot paid him $1,500 to dig up Holloway’s body and cremate it.

Now Ludwick, from Port Charlotte, Florida, has been stabbed to death after planning to kidnap a woman, police said.

“He essentially ambushed her getting out of her car, going into her home,” Taylor told CBS.

The woman managed to take Ludwick’s knife from him and stabbed him in the abdomen, say police.

“He then fled the area on foot,” police said in a statement. “He was found nearby suffering from the stab wounds. After being transported by air, he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.”

Taylor told CBS that police are not going to charge the woman.

“From every ounce of evidence we have so far, she was a victim in this case,” he said. “We have nothing to say otherwise right now.”
