White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders Answers NSA–Russia Questions
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responds to reporter’s questions about the NSA’s authority in stopping a Russian threat to election meddling during the press briefing on Feb. 27.
U.S. Cyber Command chief Adm. Mike Rogers testified in Congress earlier on Feb. 27 that he has not been given the authority by the president to disrupt Russian election hacking operations at the source.
Sanders was asked why that authority had not been given and replied that nobody is denying Rogers the authority.
