Macy’s will launch its annual July 4 fireworks from 7 barges stationed along the East River.
Here are a few locations that give the best views of the upcoming fireworks.
42nd Street & FDR Drive
The Long Island City skyline and Queensboro Bridge give the ideal backdrop for viewing the fireworks.
34th Street & FDR Drive
Almost directly in front of the barges, you can enjoy a front-row experience here.
23rd Street & FDR Drive
The view in this lower Manhattan location is equally stunning.
18th Street & Avenue C
You can enter via 20th or 23rd street. This location is ADA-compliant.
Houston Street & FDR Drive
This is a perfect spot for downtown dwellers.
