What would you do, if you received a text meant for someone else?

Tony Wood accidentally received two photos from a student, recently, and he decided to reply in a humorous manner. Little did he know how his response would affect his family.

Sydney Uselton accidentally texted pictures of her dress for her formal to Wood.

Uselton thought she was sending pictures of her dress to a friend but accidentally sent them instead to Wood, a father of six, who lives in Tennessee.

“I thought, let’s try and make this young lady’s day,” he told Bored Panda.

After about an hour and a half Wood responded to the text.

“I believe this message was intended for someone else,” he wrote. “My wife isn’t home, so I couldn’t get her opinion, but the kids and I think you look stunning in your dress! You should definitely go with that one!”

The father of six also included a photo of five of his children giving a thumbs up.

Rather than ignore the text, Wood responded.

While the exchange happened in the middle of February, it wasn’t shared on Twitter until recently. And Twitter loved it.

But the story doesn’t end there.

Upon learning that he and his kids went viral, he responded to the original tweet informing the user that his second youngest child, Kaizler, wasn’t in the picture.

Wood explained why one of his children was missing from the group photo.

The missing child, Kaizler, also gave her his thumbs up.

In late 2015, when Kaizler was four years old he was diagnosed with pre-B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Following their son’s diagnosis, Tony and his wife Rachel set up a Facebook page, Prayers for Kaizler, to keep friends and family updated.

They also set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for some of the many expenses they’d encounter with Kaizler’s treatments. During the two years, they had it open, they managed to raise only about $2,000 of their $10,000 goal.

This quickly changed as a Twitter user called upon Twitter to work its magic and shared the family’s GoFundMe page. The family not only reached their goal but raised a total of $35,000 since the post went viral.

At the age of four, Kaizler was diagnosed with leukemia.

He lost his other tooth!

“I’ve been shocked and amazed!” Tony told Yahoo Lifestyle. “People started joining Kaizler’s group from this whole situation. As far as the GoFundMe, the support has been overwhelming and has successfully driven my wife and I to tears on more than one occasion.”

At the time of the photo, Kaizler was with his mother receiving chemotherapy.

UPDATE: Kaizler never made it to school today. He stopped being shaky, but still doesn't have much energy. He's…

The couple has been overwhelmed by the generosity of complete strangers.

“It is so refreshing to be reminded that there are good people in the world who still care about others and are quick to be generous and kind to others,” Rachel told Bored Panda. “I would also like to thank EVERYONE from the bottom of my heart for all the kind words, all the prayers, all the donations, all the love and support. We honestly would never have been able to make it this far in our journey without every single one of you!!!”
