Screaming Children, a Flight, and a Stranger’s Act of Kindness
A man sitting next to two screaming children on a flight decided to help the struggling mother, instead of changing seats.
Todd Walker, from Kansas, gave stressed mother Jessica Rudeen a helping hand, which she has described as a “huge blessing”
In a Facebook post, Rudeen wrote, “This guy, Todd, showed me kindness and compassion that I’ve never known from another person. His wife, he said, had a similar experience when their two boys were young and a stranger showed her the same kindness.
“I am blown away by God’s hand in this because we could have been placed next to anyone”
Speaking with Fox4 Walker said, “I saw was a mom looking around the corner at me with big eyes, and two kids in tow that were both having a bad day. They were both screaming.”
“I reached over, and she handed me her baby, and she was a able to get Caroline strapped in, and I handed the baby back and she was able to give him a bottle and start feeding him a little bit.”
Walker colored and watched a movie with Caroline, and by the end of the flight he had made a new friend. After Walker and Rudeen realized they were catching the same connection, he also helped the family onto the next flight.
