Singing Teacher: Shen Yun Was ‘Very Impressive’

“It was very impressive. Very impressed with the principal dancers, especially when they had their solo bits; the turns on the heels was incredible, and the spinning handkerchiefs---I thought that was incredible too.”

“When [the erhu player] did her solo on stage, I thought that was amazing.”

“I felt also the telling of traditional Chinese stories is a way to make people aware of them and pass them down. I thought that was really cool.”

“I thought that [the contemporary story] was evocative. That was very emotive. I definitely felt emotional at those parts, when people were feeling passionate about believing, having faith in something, and that being taken away from them.”
