Simon Kindleysides Is Going to Be the First Paralyzed Man to Walk the London Marathon
A paralyzed man who now walks with a robotic suit plans to enter—and complete—the 2018 London Marathon.
Simon Kindleysides was diagnosed with FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) and was confined to a wheelchair in 2013.
In 2015 Kindleysides started “walking” with Rex the robotic suit.
Now the 34-year-old from Northamptonshire, UK, has set himself a serious challenge.
Kindleysides estimates it will take him two days to complete the 26.2-mile course.
