Bailey Nicole Sellers has received the last bouquet of flowers from her father. He died of cancer five years ago, but still, every Nov. 24, on her birthday, she would get flowers and a letter from him.

Before he died, the father prepaid the flowers to be delivered, but this year’s bouquet was the last.

She posted on Twitter a picture of the flowers, the letter, and an old photo where she sits, as a little girl, on her dad’s shoulder.

“Well this is my 21st birthday flowers and the last. Miss you so much daddy,” she wrote.

The letter, written on a card with pictures of butterflies and the Eiffel Tower, reads:

Bailey,
This is my last
love letter to you until we
meet again. I do not
want you to shed another
tear for me my Baby
girl for I am in a
better place. You are and will always
be the most precious jewel I was
gven. It is your 21st birthday and
I want you to always respect your
momma and stay true to yourself.
Be happy and live life to
the fullest. I will still
be with you through
every milestone, just
look around and there I
will be. I love you Boo Boo and
Happy Birthday!!!! Daddy

Sellers’s tweet was “liked” over 800,000 times and received thousands of comments from friends and strangers.

Many said they were moved to tears.

“[I don’t know] you but seeing this made me tear up, I’m so sorry for your loss, this is both sad and heartwarming that he did that for you,” one Twitter user wrote.

“I know. Every year I looked forward to my birthday because I felt like he was still here with me but this is the last year I get them so it’s so heartbreaking,” Sellers responded.

Sellers lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, and studied at East Tennessee State University, according to her Facebook profile.

“I’m so thankful that my dads thoughtfulness brought so many people happiness,” she Tweeted on Nov. 25.
