SAN DIEGO—After watching the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) 2009 World Tour performance at the San Diego Civic Theater, Ms. Carmen, publisher of a San Diego-based newspaper, was amazed with the level of artistry and history portrayed in the show.

“Wonderful, it’s spectacular! The colors! The show is very quick, there are so many scenes and also embedded is history,” said Carmen, who is originally from Thailand.

Ms. Carmen said people who are familiar with the history of China would appreciate the performance, but even those who don’t know much about the history of China will enjoy the “music and the beautiful arts.”

“This show portrays more of the history of China than other shows I have seen from China. It also has to do with human rights. I think it’s good to coordinate the music and the arts and performance into one.”

“Every scene seems like is going quickly and the sequence is really smooth. I am watching and waiting to see what’s next. It’s really wonderful,” she said.

The DPA International Company will hold two more performances in San Diego, one on Saturday 27 Dec. at 7pm and one final performance at 1pm Sunday 28 Dec.
