PHILADELPHIA—If anyone knows beauty and poise, it would be a beauty queen. 2004 Miss Delaware Linda Kurtz was in the audience at the Saturday matinée show in Philadelphia.

“The colors, the music, the dancers are absolutely phenomenal,” Kurtz said. “It’s just a great glimpse into Chinese culture and history, and I really like how they went into present day, too. It showed some of the injustices that are going on in China which I think a lot of people don’t know about.”

Kurtz currently works as a freelance anchor for Comcast’s CN8 Newsmakers program. In her time in television, she has won two Telly Awards.

“I actually was a professionally trained ballerina and I’ve never seen this type of dancing before,” she said. “The men, the women..I’m just blown away by the tricks they can do. I’m just very, very impressed.”
