Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have revealed the name of their baby girl’s name.

They posted the name on social media Friday, saying the girl is named Chicago West, and referencing the child as “Chi” in one social media post.

Chicago is Kanye’s hometown.

Their other children are named North and Saint.

Chicago---the baby---was born through a surrogate at 12:47 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, and she weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, according to a statement from the family, according to USA Today.

“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” the statement said. “We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”

They had to use a surrogate because Kardashian revealed that she suffers from from placenta accreta, which is a painful and potentially life-threatening condition.

According to the Mayo Clinic, “Placenta accreta is a serious pregnancy condition that occurs when blood vessels and other parts of the placenta grow too deeply into the uterine wall. Typically, the placenta detaches from the uterine wall after childbirth. With placenta accreta, part or all of the placenta remains firmly attached. This can cause severe blood loss after delivery.”

It says: “It’s also possible for the placenta to invade the muscles of the uterus (placenta increta) or grow through the uterine wall (placenta percreta).”
