With the Super Bowl just days away, “Jeopardy” introduced a football category on Thursday night, Feb. 1, but all of the contestants failed to answer any question in the category correctly.

Host Alex Trebek noted that the contestants saved the category for last.

Then, the three people were unable to answer any of the five questions.

They didn’t even buzz in for an attempt.

One of the questions was “What is an option play.”

Another asked, “Which team did Tom Landry coach?”

“I can tell you guys are big football fans,” he said after none of the contestants rang in on the first question. “Do you think we should go to commercial?”

The audience laughed.

Trebek then made fun of the contestants more after their lack of knowledge was revealed further with more questions going unanswered.

“Let’s look at the thousand dollar clue, just for the fun of it,” he joked.

The contestants laughed along with the crowd.

The next Super Bowl is scheduled for Sunday night in Minnesota.

The Philadelphia Eagles will face the New England Patriots.
