Twin sisters got a surprise when they were both proposed to on the same day.

The second twist? Their fiancees are twins, too.

Briana and Brittany Deane, 31, met Josh and Jeremy Salyers, 34, in August 2017.

The pair of twins hit it off and began dating.

Then, on Feb. 2, the four were at a state park in Virginia when the Salyers decided to propose.

The twins were dressed in matching suits and gowns for a commercial they were there to shoot.

The Deane twins had dreams about meeting the perfect pair of boys, ideally twins themselves.
“We were always ‘the twins’ and longed for the opportunity to meet other twins,” Briana told the News-Advance.
Briana and Brittany began attending an annual gathering called The Twin Days Festival in Ohio, known as the “largest annual gathering of twins (and other multiples) in the world,” according to its website. The Deanes met Josh and Jeremy in 2017, their sixth year attending the event.

The Salyers were at the event for the first time.

“We very much lucked out on our first attempt,” Josh said. “We found our twins there. It’s been a dream since then.”

“We were sitting on the bleachers and I saw just these two amazingly handsome young men that looked to be about our age,” Brittany recalled to ABC News, “and they were walking across the gym floor below.”

The girls didn’t move, though, and the twins didn’t meet each other until the last day of the festival.

“They were there at the end of the hall,” Briana Deane said. “They smiled at us and we all started talking.”

The sets of twins exchanged information, and soon the Salyers made a road trip from Tennessee to visit the sisters in Virginia.

The brothers said they knew during that meet-up that they would one day propose to the sisters.

“You know when you know,” Jeremy Salyers said. “We’ve always known our whole life if we were going to be married that it was going to be with twins.”
