If you are following a paleo or low-carb diet, you may be on the hunt for some snack ideas. Many patients that start a Paleo diet find that choosing healthy main courses is not a problem, but they need some help for snack attacks:

Here Are Some Good Ideas If You’re On-the-Go:

  1. Hard-boiled eggs
  2. Guacamole, or avocado with sprinkle of sea salt
  3. Nuts and seeds: almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios
  4. Almond butter or coconut butter
  5. Chia seed pudding
  6. Recharge or Sustain protein shake
  7. Veggies: carrots, cucumber, celery, zucchini, etc
  8. Green juice
  9. Power Bars or more easy homemade snack ideas from Elana’s Pantry
  10. Kale Chips
  11. Seaweed crisps
  12. Flax crackers
  13. Olives
  14. Sauerkraut or kimchi
  15. Canned salmon or sardines
  16. Paleo egg muffins
  17. Beef or buffalo jerky or biltong
  18. “Ants on a Log”: celery with almond butter and raisins
  19. Low-glycemic fruit like green apple or blueberries
  20. Bulletproof coffee
  21. Unsweetened coconut flakes
