Giant Blue Marlin Washes Ashore on Port Aransas
A giant blue marlin washed ashore in Port Aransas, Texas, according to video footage of the incident.
The video shows a man trying to drag the big fish back into the ocean as waves crash on the shore.
“You’re his hero,” said one woman in the clip.
Blue marlins are among of the largest types of fish in the world. They can weigh up to 2,000 pounds and can get to 14 feet in length, noted NBC24.
“I thought it was a shark eating something and as I walked closer, I discovered it was a blue marlin,” Denice Garza, a witness, told KIII-TV.
