Firefighters Rescue 180-Pound Saint Bernard Stuck On A Roof
A dog sitter’s nightmare turned into reality when the St Bernard she was looking after jumped through a second-story window.
Luckily, the 180 pound dog landed on a small porch roof of the house in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota.
“I ended up calling the fire department and thankfully they came over,” said sitter Renee Roth, reported CBS.
Firefighters had to remove the entire window so that the dog, named Whiskey could get through.
The Spring Lake Park Fire Department posted pictures of the massive dog perched on top of the porch on June 9, with a simple note saying, “we respond to all kinds of calls.”
In the comments on the post, the fire department explained how they rescued Whiskey: “Fire Fighters on the roof lifted his front legs to the window sill, fire crews in the house lifted and pulled him in safe and sound!
