On Thursday morning, two semi-trailers traveling along Interstate 40 in Arkansas collided, resulting in one tractor spilling hundreds of bottles of cinnamon-flavored whisky along the busy highway, reported KATV.
The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. between Galloway and Kerr in Pulaski County, according to the Department of Transportation.
Emergency crews attended the scene and a mechanical broom was used to clean up the mess of broken bottles and debris from the crash.
In a tweet, the department said: “Looks like we'll be working this for a while.”
Pictures of the crash, along with the broken bottles, were posted on the department’s Twitter account.
Injuries sustained in the crash were non life-threatening, according to Arkansas state police.
After the crash, sections of the highway had to be closed, causing hour-long delays in both directions.
At around 10:30 p.m., the department announced the re-opening of the highway via Twitter.
The cause of the crash is not known with investigations still underway.
According to KATV, a similar incident occurred in August along the same highway that involved a truckload of spaghetti sauce.
