Edge Towers, near Hurontario and Burnamthorpe, will be steps from a new LRT station that will be part of 20 kilometres of dedicated rapid transit between the Port Credit GO station in Mississauga to the Gateway Terminal at Steeles Ave. in Brampton and provide connections to Lakeshore West rail lines, MiWay, Brampton Transit and the Mississauga Transitway BRT (Bus Rapid Transit). The condos will also be within minutes of major highways including the QEW, 401, 407, and 403. The Mississauga Bus Terminal is a seven-minute walk away at Square One, the largest shopping centre in Ontario, where name brand retailers include Holt Renfrew, Hudson’s Bay, Walmart, and Whole Foods Market. A host of restaurants, stores, services, and more are within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy a true live, work, and play lifestyle.

The nearby Sheridan College campus offers 130 career-focussed programs. The first tower, 35 storeys with 293 suites, designed by Roy Varacalli of Cusimano Architects, will be launched soon. The community will eventually include three towers that will be visible from Toronto.

Davie says Mississauga, which is the GTA’s second largest condo market behind Toronto, represents excellent value for buyers. With new condo prices of about $1,100 to $1,400 per square foot in Toronto and $800 per square foot in Vaughan, Mississauga’s $600 per square foot price is still very affordable and the reason that Mississauga is becoming the alternative choice for a lot of home buyers.

Mississauga has made it clear “that it’s open for business” says Davie and several exciting new major developments are coming to Mississauga, which will boost its reputation as a progressive, modern city. It’s a rich, multi-cultural community with Chinese Canadians forming one of the largest ethnic groups in the city. Chinese purchasers have been buying homes in Mississauga for more than 20 years “and will certainly be a presence in this building,” says Davie.
