CHICAGO—Ms. Hennig, a school teacher, did not know what a beautiful treat she was in for when she first came to Divine Performing Arts (DPA) New York Company show at the recently renovated Civic Opera House in Chicago on Saturday night, Dec. 27.

The spiritual message that the show conveyed stood out the most for Ms. Hennig, it touched her heart. She felt an ‘oneness’ with the message of all the spiritual beliefs in the show. She said, “America needs more spirituality at this time, but it is good to know that China lives its own spiritual message, and I think many Chinese people today are under duress from the communists.”

“The true people and their beautiful spirituality, history, and presence in the show really came across. The art and the spiritual blending also really came across.”

She was particularly moved by the opening act “The Five Millennia Begin.” She felt that this act, in particular, showed the ethereal world and higher realms. She felt that when the Buddha came out of the sky and then down to earth it was magical. “It conveyed the two levels of where we are on: the physical plane and also on a higher plane, and the stage made that real.”

Ms. Hennig highly recommends the show to all who have the opportunity to see it, and she will encourage her church members to see it. She ended with, “The show was a special gift to my New Year.”
