She also performed in costumed roles in several “Star Wars” movies as well as “Men in Black,” Variety reported.
“She was incredibly tough in the suits,” said Kirk R. Thatcher, who worked with her in a few “Star Wars” movies such as “Return of the Jedi.” He told the New York Times: “She could do anything. She was a great body actor, like a mime.”

“She played the gamut, from action to horror films to commercials,” Gregg Sargeant, who worked with Carrington on “Total Recall.” “She was about everything you’d dream of in an actress.”
According to the Times, Carrington attempted to help “dwarfs in Hollywood, insisting that they received credit for their work, since many costume-specific parts often went uncredited. She would also confront writers and directors about clichéd and cheap jokes about her height.”
