91 Vehicles Sprayed With Acid at Fontana Car Dealer
A car dealer named Pacific Auto Center in Fontana, California had a horrifying night on June 11.
A male and a female suspect, wearing plastic gloves, goggles and jumpsuits, entered the dealer’s parking lot. They sprayed acid, which may have been paint remover, on the cars nearby. In about 15 minutes, they damaged 91 cars, causing the paint to start peeling off.
Two security guards were on duty, but they didn’t notice the problem in time. It’s estimated that it will cost the dealer thousands of dollars to repaint and fix the cars.
Fontana police and the car dealer are asking the public to provide information about the suspects or what kind of chemical they used.
