A 10-year-old girl was violently robbed as she was entering her apartment in the Bronx on the afternoon of May 25.

The attacker, yet to be identified, followed the girl into the building’s lobby on Holland Avenue in Allerton.

He grabbed her cell phone from her and hit her with it. He then threw her to the ground and kicked her in the face before fleeing the scene.

“I heard screaming,“ the victim’s mother told Pix 11. ”When she came to the door she was bleeding.”

She said that her daughter’s face was swollen for three days, and her nose and lips were bruised.

“She’s doing fine. She doesn’t think about that too much, because I try to talk to her, just let it go,” ABC 7 NY reported.

However, she says her daughter is “traumatized.”

“It never happened to her, now she’s scared to go by herself to school,” she told Pix 11.
