In answer to what she describes as “a movement of women creating businesses ... doing what they love,” business coach, speaker, and now author Christy Wright has put together a standout roadmap for success in her soon-to-be-released book, “Business Boutique: A Woman’s Guide for Making Money Doing What She Loves.”

Donning the same name as Wright’s online and event brand, “Business Boutique” squashes any notion that there just isn’t any more room in the marketplace for another start-your-own-business book.

Clearly targeted to aspiring female entrepreneurs—especially moms who’ve either just started along their entrepreneurial journey or who wish to—“Business Boutique” hits all the right notes.

It’s a conversational and entertaining read that balances well-told stories with solid tactical advice. Wright walks readers through her four tiers—harkening back to the tiered layers of cakes her mother made in her own entrepreneurial venture that inspired her daughter’s work with women in business today.

In the first layer Wright lays out the foundational considerations of starting a business, such as defining the overall purpose of the business, a vision for success, goal setting, and more.

As tiers are stacked, Wright walks shoulder to shoulder with readers through seemingly every step of planning a business, touching on things as varied as identifying one’s strengths, to hiring an accountant, to establishing a solid brand, to dealing with patents and copyrights, to creating social media content, and a lot more.

What could be an overwhelming amount of complex information is presented in clear terms anyone can understand and within a very well organized structure. Step by step, the tiers of the cake are built and the end result most certainly could be a delicious business that won’t easily topple.

I suppose I shouldn’t have been so pleasantly surprised by the high value of this book. I’ve been following via social media the great work Christy Wright has been doing as a Ramsey personality—part of the ever expanding empire of financial expert Dave Ramsey.

With so many books and so many internet resources for hopeful entrepreneurs, though, I wondered if this could deliver anything unique. While “Business Boutique” doesn’t actually offer any earth-shattering or brand new information for budding entrepreneurs, this book stands out from them all in its high quality delivery.

The plan Wright lays out is so well crafted, so simple, so targeted to the needs of exactly the reader she’s speaking to, I think a significant portion of readers will truly take action and create success for themselves and their families after reading this book.

For that reason, and because you really feel like you get to know the author throughout this 300-plus page book (I mean, I feel like we’re friends. Christy, call me! ;) ) readers will feel well supported.

If you’re a burgeoning entrepreneur, you have an idea for a business and don’t know where to begin, or you just have entrepreneurial tendencies—dive into “Business Boutique.” In a super crowded marketplace, this one deserves a shelf all its own.

Kudos, Christy Wright, and thank you!
