An Alabama toddler who was found in a pool a few weeks ago has passed away.
When the 2-year-old was retrieved, he didn’t have a pulse.
Eric Easterwood said his son was also blue.
The boy was rushed to the hospital, where emergency responders put him into a medically-induced coma.
“His vitals are stable so that is a huge positive. His pupils are starting to react to light which shows that there is something in his mind,” Easterwood said after his son was placed in a coma. “We don’t know what the function is but there is something there. He’s just fighting really hard.”
But the page announced on Tuesday that the toddler had passed away.
“Strangers from around the world and United States praying for him and sent us words of encouragement and showing God’s love. When I was lost for words in prayer, I could read what others wrote. This helped me through the worst time of my life. We had [an] outpouring of gifts, visits, and food supporting Jackson in his fight.”
She added, “I will forever miss his smile, laugh and his mischievous look. As we say goodbye to our precious little Jackson, keep praying. Look for God’s love everywhere and show His love to all. Keep praying for miraculous miracles.”
